Police Search For Bank Robbery Suspect

Wichita police are searching for a man accused of robbing a downtown bank.

It happened at the Bank of the West, 255 N. Main, just after 10:30 a.m.

Police said a man walked into the bank demanding money. No weapon was indicated. He had the teller put the cash into a dark, green plastic bag.

The suspect ran away from the scene. He is described as a black man in his 30's, about 6' tall, weighing 180 lbs. He was last seen wearing a black jacket, black bandana, and sunglasses.

Anyone with information on the crime should call 911.
