Police: Teen stabbed during fight with brother

WICHITA, Kan. — A Wichita teen is hospitalized in critical condition after police say he was stabbed during a fight with his brother.

It happened around 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at a home in the 1800 block of South Windsor. Police say two brothers, ages 18 and 19, got into a fight and their father stepped in to break it up.

The boys' father said the 18-year-old was stabbed twice in the rib cage.

When officers arrived, both brothers were suffering from stab wounds. The 19-year-old was treated at an area hospital, then booked into jail.

His brother remains hospitalized in critical condition.
