Wichita Police are still searching for the suspect or suspects who murdered a man earlier this week.
Early Thursday morning, officers found the body of 29-year-old Adji Tampone at his home in the 700 block of South Rutan. He had been shot once in the head.
Friends told police they had been trying to get in touch with the victim since New Year's Eve. They went to his home, saw him through a window not moving and called police.
Officers have since found Tampone's silver Cadillac Seville, believed to have been taken after the shooting, abandoned in the 1400 block of North Yale.
No suspects have been located. Anyone with information on this murder investigation is asked to call police.
