WICHITA, Kan. - Wichita police arrested two men after a crash in a parking lot turned into a chase that ended on Kellogg.
Tuesday night's trouble started with a fender-bender outside a QuikTrip at Douglas and Washington.
After the accident, one of the cars took off, and the other driver followed for leaving the scene of an accident.
As the the chase entered Kellogg, police say the cars were driving recklessly, and one of them hit a guardrail.
The cars eventually stopped in the middle of Kellogg near Seneca, and police arrived soon after. Both drivers, a 19-year-old man and 26-year-old man, were booked for disorderly conduct and careless driving.
A witness thought she heard a gunshot during the incident, but police found no weapon and believe the sound was the car hitting the guardrail.
Police say it's fortunate that no one was seriously hurt, as they could have caused a serious accident.
