One Hurt After Officer-Involved Accident

A woman is expected to recover after an officer-involved accident in south Wichita.

Crews were called to the scene in the 3200 block of S. Hydraulic just before 8 a.m. Tuesday.

Authorities said a police car was responding to a call, driving north on Hydraulic. But a woman pulled out of a parking lot, striking the cruiser.

The woman was taken to a nearby hospital with minor injuries. The officer was not hurt.

One person has been taken to the hospital after an officer-involved accident in south Wichita.

It happened just before 8 a.m. Tuesday in the 3200 block of S. Hydraulic.

Details of the accident remain unclear at this time, but at least one person was pinned in the vehicle after the crash. They were taken to a nearby hospital for treatment.
