Wichita, Kan. -- One person is dead following a collision in Southwest Wichita.
The collision was reported shortly before 10 p.m. Tuesday at Southwest Blvd. and West Street and involved a semi and a Jeep. Trooper Ryan Tauer with the Kansas Highway Patrol says Stephen Burke, 52 of Wichita, ran a red light and collided with the truck.
Tauer says the Jeep was dragged 20 to 30 feet, and wound up pinned underneath the truck. The truck driver was not injured.
It's unclear if Burke wore a seat belt. Tauer said there was no evidence of distracted driving by Burke. The intersection was closed to traffic for several hours, while troopers investigated details.
