UPDATE: Sedgwick man dies in crash north of Park City

Valley Center, Kan. -- A Sedgwick man is dead following a crash Saturday evening.

It happened shortly before 8:30 p.m. at 101st Street North and Broadway. That Kansas Highway Patrol says 49-year-old Joseph Crowder was northbound on Broadway when for an unknown reason he left the road and collided with a tree.

Crowder was pronounced dead at the scene. No one else was hurt in the accident.

One person is dead following an accident north of Park City.

It happened shortly before 8:30 p.m. Saturday at 101st Street North and Broadway. Kansas Highway Patrol Trooper Aaron McGuire says a man was travelling south on Broadway when for an unknown reason he left the road and struck a tree.

The man was pronounced dead at the scene by Sedgwick County EMS. His name has not been released, but McGuire said he was from the Sedgwick area.

No one else was with the man at the time of the accident.
