A Grenola, Kansas woman was killed in a two-vehicle accident Wednesday afternoon in Cowley County.
The accident happened on US Highway 160 just west of Cambridge before 4:00 p.m..
The Kansas Highway Patrol said a van slowed to let a car turn into a private drive. Troopers said the driver of a car following the van didn't see it slow and struck the rear of the van.
A passenger in the van, Dianne Langley, 47, died in the crash. The van driver was not hurt.
The driver of the car, Morgan Bailey-Whiteman, 16, of Cambridge, was taken to William Newton Hospital in Winfield for treatment.
