Reno County Sheriff Randy Henderson says 11 people have been arrested following the discovery of an active methamphetamine lab in Hutchinson.

Henderson says the lab was found in a home in the 400 block of East 7th Avenue. On Thursday, officers executed a search warrant at the house. Once inside, officers discovered an active meth lab and three tanks that had previously contained drug making materials.

Eleven people were arrested at the scene on various charges, including drug and paraphernalia possession. Henderson says three of those arrested lived in the house where the meth lab was discovered.

Henderson says this was a very active drug house. He says people continued to arrive while officers were inside conducted the search. The investigation into the case is pending.
