Mulvane Police have released startling surveillance video of a robbery at the Dillons grocery store back on June 10. With no suspects and no leads, they're hoping you'll recognize the suspects or come forward with information.
In the video, you see the clerk answer the back doorbell to what he believes is a delivery person. As the first man distracts the employee by walking in carrying a tray full of goods, a second man cold cocks the unsuspecting worker and knocks him to the ground.
They proceed to tie up the clerk and then go to the front of the store where they confront the female manager.
"This was at 4:15 in the morning," said Mulvane Police Lt. Matthew O'Brien. "They were preparing the store to open at 6:00 and the manager was doing the cash drawers."
Another camera captured one of the suspects barging into the office and tackling the manager, who never saw it coming. She is then also tied up and told not to move.
"They were in the store for more than 20 minutes," O'Brien said. "One of them had an actual ski mask on and the second person used packaging tape that he got in the store and he ended up putting it on his face."
Both employees were injured. One has still not returned to work, five weeks after the holdup.
