WICHITA, Kan. - One person is dead and two others are injured, after a motorcycle collided with a car in southwest Wichita.
Emergency personnel found the victims around 11:45 p.m. Wednesday night at Harry and Orient.
Police Sgt. Jim Harrick says the Harley-Davidson motorcycle was attempting to make a right-and-left turn from Harry onto Orient. During the second part of the turn, the bike reportedly ran a stop sign and collided with a black Lexus.
The motorcycle driver died at the scene. He's been identified as 41-year-old Donovan Ward of Wichita.
Two other people were transported to a hospital - a 30-year-old female motorcycle rider with critical injuries and a car passenger with minor injuries.
