Rain, storms make their way to KAKEland

WICHITA, KS Rain and some thunderstorms moved into KAKEland this afternoon.
The heavy rain caused some street flooding in the Valley Center area. Power poles were down near 295th West and 21st North.

With saturated ground, heavy rain could also cause problems. Localized flooding in low lying areas will be possible through Thursday morning.

Flood watches have been posted for Butler, Cowley, Chautauqua, Elk and Greenwood Counties.

Showers and storms will eventually exit KAKEland during the morning hours on Thursday,. Skies will be dry for Trick or Treating Thursday night.
