Five people suffered minor injuries after a church van carrying children rolled over east of Derby early Saturday afternoon.
The accident happened around noon near 79th Street South and Greenwich Road.
An employee of the Rose Hill Christian Church said three adults and 10 children were traveling in the van on 79th Street when it was hit by another vehicle. The van rolled after it went into the ditch.
Sedgwick County Sheriff's Maj. Michael Oliver said three people from the van were taken to the hospital with minor injuries. The two people in the car were checked for minor injuries at the scene.
The church employee said the three van passengers were released from the hospital later in the day.
