Men rob west Wichita gas station at gunpoint

WICHITA, Kan. -- Police are investigating after two men allegedly robbed a west Wichita gas station Saturday evening.

It happened at the Phillips 66 in the 1200 block of South Tyler, near Kellogg. The 26-year-old clerk told police the two men, one of whom had a handgun, entered the store around 9:45 p.m. and robbed the store of a small amount of cash, gum and cigarettes.

The clerk was not hurt.

The two suspects are described only as white males around the age of 18, both wearing black hoodies and gray sweatpants.

No arrests have been made. Anyone with information is asked to call 911 or Crime Stoppers at 316-267-2111.
