Marijuana Growing Operation Found West Of Wichita

Hundreds of marijuana plants were found on property west of Wichita, and investigators want the public's help to find the person responsible.

A hunter found marijuana plants growing on his land near the 16000 block of West Central on Monday afternoon. No one lives on the property near 167th Street West and Central.

When deputies arrived, they found marijuana growing near a barn and plants being dried inside the barn.

Deputies collected more than 300 plants for destruction.
