WICHITA, Kan. — Police say a medical condition led to a traffic accident in southeast Wichita.
The crash happened shortly before noon Tuesday near the intersection of Hillside and Pawnee. According to police, a southbound car on Hillside rear-ended an SUV, pushing it into the intersection. The car then reversed into a cement wall.
Police say a man in his 40s who was driving the car had a medical condition that led to the crash. He was transported to a local hospital with serious injuries, but he's since been upgraded to good condition. No one else was hurt.
