Man Stabs Brother Over Football Game

One man is in jail after stabbing his brother during an argument over a football game the two had been watching on TV Saturday night. It happened just before 9 p.m. in the 1100 block of North Terrace Drive.

Relatives told police the brothers were arguing over a football game when the 49-year-old man stabbed his 45-year-old brother three times, said Wichita Police Sgt. Scott Brunow.

The victim was taken to Wesley Medical Center in serious condition. His brother was jailed on aggravated battery charges.
