A man remains hospitalized with stab wounds after getting into a fight with his neighbor.

Authorities were called to the scene in the 2500 block of S. Mosley around 3 p.m. Tuesday.

Police said a 44-year-old man noticed his 47-year-old neighbor slashing tires. The victim confronted the suspect. The slasher pulled out a knife and stabbed the victim severely.

The victim was taken to Via Christi Hospital on St. Francis with critical injuries.

One person was booked into custody for the crime.

A Wichita man is in critical condition after being stabbed during a fight. It happened just after 3:30 p.m. in the 2500 block of South Mosley Street.

Officials say the 44-year-old victim was arguing with a neighbor. The neighbor pulled a knife and stabbed the victim in the chest.

The victim went to a nearby house for help. He was taken to a local hospital in critical condition.

Police are on the scene interviewing witnesses. We have a crew on the way and will bring you more information as it becomes available.
