A man was shot in the arm at a south Wichita motel early Sunday morning. It happened just after midnight at the Bell Boy Motel in the 2000 block of South Broadway.
Wichita Police Sgt. Scott Brunow says the victim reported being approached my a man wanting to buy crack-cocaine. When the victim refused to sell it, a second man approached, demanded the victim's money and began firing at him.
The victim told officers he went and hid in the bathroom until the men left. He was taken to the hospital but left before receiving treatment.
One suspect is described as a black male, 5 foot 8 inches and wearing a brown heavy coat with a hood. The second is described as a black male, 6 foot 2 with gray hair and a beard, heavy build and wearing and blue and yellow coat.
