A man is in a Wichita hospital with serious injuries following a motorcycle accident overnight.
It happened around 2 a.m. near 31st Street South and Broadway in South Wichita.
No one witnessed the crash, but other drivers passing through the area saw a man laying in the middle of the street next to a motorcycle and called 911.
The 32-year-old man was taken to an area hospital for treatment.
Police believe the man was heading south on Broadway, and had turned west onto 31st when he lost control. They believe speed was a factor.
His identity has not been released. Police believe they know who the man is, but only found a military ID and the motorcycle had not yet been registered.
