Wichita Police are searching for a pedestrian who caused an accident in Northeast Wichita. The accident happened in the 100 block of North Oliver Tuesday night.
Police said a pedestrian stepped into the street. A northbound car swerved to miss him and collided head-on with another car.
The driver of the northbound car suffered a closed head injury and is in critical condition at Wesley Medical Center. A 3-year-old boy riding in the same car was treated and released.
A 23-year-old woman, driving the other car, was taken to the hospital in serious condition.

A man is in critical condition and a 3 year-old child hospitalized after an accident on Oliver near 13th Street.
It happened shortly after 7 o'clock in the 1100 block N. Oliver. Wichita Police say a northbound car collided with a southbound car and witnesses reported they may have been trying to avoid hitting a dog in the roadway.
The man in his twenties was was taken to Wesley Medical Center for treatment. His three year-old passenger, who police say wasn't restrained, had minor injuries.
A woman driving the other vehicle was taken to the hospital with minor injuries. The Critical Accident Team is investigating the crash.

Wichita Police are investigating an accident that happened shortly after 7 o'clock Tuesday evening in East Wichita.
It happened in the 1100 block of N. Oliver, just south of 13th Street. A man was transported from the scene in critical condition and taken to Wesley Medical Center for treatment.
A second person had less serious injuries. The Wichita Police Department's Critical Accident Team has been called to the scene to investigate.
