The Sedgwick County Sheriff's Office has identified the 52 year-old man critically injured in a roll-over accident Saturday night.
It happened shortly before 11:30 p.m. near 183rd Street West and 47th Street South. Deputies say Jefferey Sunderland was northbound on 183rd Street when his car hit a guardrail and landed on its top in the east ditch.
The impact snapped several guardrail posts and ripped others out of the ground.
Sunderland was taken by EMS to via Christi Hospital on St. Francis in critical condition. A hospital spokesman says he has since improved to serious condition.

A 52-year-old man was taken to a Wichita hospital in critical condition after he rolled his car southwest of the city late Saturday night.
The one-vehilce crash happened a little after 11 p.m. on 183rd Street West, just south of 47th Street South.
Sedgwick County Sheriff's Sgt. Dale Butcher said the man was northbound on 183rd Street when his car hit a guardrail and landed on its top in the east ditch. The impact snapped several guardrail posts and ripped others out of the ground.
The man was taken to Via Christi-St. Francis Hospital. Butcher said deputies believe alcohol was a contributing factor.
