A Kansas man has been charged in a Tuesday afternoon shooting in Logan County.
The shooting happened around 3:30 p.m. Tuesday in a rural part of the county just west of McAllister.
At his first appearance Wednesday, William D. Collins was charged with aggravated criminal battery and criminal threat, the Logan County attorney’s office said in a news release.
The victim is identified only as a man whose injuries are not considered life-threatening.
Collins’ bond was set at $50,000 and he will be required to wear an electronic monitoring device if released. His preliminary hearing is set for March 13.
