A man is jailed on several charges following a drug bust in Great Bend last night.
Authorities had recently received information indicating a Great Bend man was in possession of controlled substances. Shortly before 9 p.m. Tuesday, Barton County sheriff's deputies executed a search warrant at the home in question, in the 1000 block of Stone Street.
Inside, officers found a "substantial amount" of methamphetamine and marijuana, as well as other drug paraphernalia.
Shawn A. Satterfield, 36, was arrested and booked for possession of meth with intent to distribute, possession of marijuana with intent to distribute, no drug tax stamp and possession of drug paraphernalia. His bond is set at $100,000.
The Kansas Bureau of Investigation and the Kansas Department of Revenue assisted at the scene.
