Ehimen Orukpe gets his first block and Shockers take possession and Carl Hall checks in.

Cotton went up for an alley oop on the inbound pass and somehow missed the finish. Like the rim was magnetized, but not in a good way. You know, when the magnet pushes instead of pulls? Anyway,

Teams trade a pair of misses until Ron Baker rains a 3 on the Explorers to take a 15 point lead. Early tried to take a charge but a no call results in Explorers going to the line. Jerrell Wright makes the first.

Baker with a HUGE BLOCK as well, and Garland misses a three in transition. Tekele Cotton goes hard to the glass for 2 and Hall blocks ANOTHER ONE on La Salle's dribble-drive lay up attempt.
