Wichita, Kan. -- Light snow will slide southeast from Colorado into Northwest Kansas around midday. Through the afternoon and evening, snow will track southeast. Snow will eventually exit KAKEland by midday Tuesday.
1" to 3" of snow will be possible in the heaviest band extending from just south of Goodland to Garden City and back to Syracuse. Outside of this band, locations will see 1" or less of total accumulation.
Roads could become slick in spots across Western Kansas. Travel problems along I-70 should be minimal with the heaviest snow falling south. Stay tuned for updates and remember to share your weather photos by sending them to email@example.com.
