WICHITA, Kan. - Wichita police are looking for a man who held up a convenience store early Wednesday morning on South Hydraulic.
Police say the Kwik Shop near MacArthur was held up around 12:30. Lt. James Espinoza told KAKE News the robber held a gun to a female clerk's face and demanded money. He left with an undisclosed amount, then ran south.
The suspect is described as a white male in his 30s, 5’5” and 130 lbs. He was armed with a black handgun at the time. He also had blue eyes, blond hair and a one to two-day's growth of beard. He wore camouflage pants and a maroon top.
This makes at least two convenience store robberies in southeast Wichita in about 36 hours. The first one occurred Monday night a couple of blocks away, in the 1200 block of East Pawnee.
