A man died in an ATV accident on the northwest side of Kingman Friday evening. It happened near W. Copeland Avenue and Golf Street at around 8:00 p.m.
According to the Kansas Highway Patrol, the driver of the ATV was eastbound when he struck the metal guard on a gas meter and overturned.
Jesse Henning, 23, was the passenger on the ATV. He was taken to a local hospital and was pronounced dead a short time later.
The driver of the ATV was taken to a hospital for treatment.
