Kansas Students Win Gore Scholarships
High School seniors from Wellsville and Carbondale have won Wichita State University's Gore Memorial Scholarships.

High School seniors from Wellsville and Carbondale have won Wichita State University's Gore Memorial Scholarships.
The scholarships, awarded annually, recognize leadership and academic skills and are two of the largest undergraduate scholarships in Kansas.
Whitney Wilson is a senior at Santa Fe Trail High School. She is interested in studying dental hygiene at WSU. Caleb Smith attends Wellsville High School. He plans to major in aerospace engineering.
Smith and Wilson were selected from more than 359 competitors.
