Is This January? Record High Temperatures Set In Kansas

The calendar may say it's January, but it feels like it's early spring. Wichita's temperature reached 74 degrees by 3:00 p.m., breaking the old record of 72 degrees for this date.

Record highs were established in other Kansas communities, including Salina and Topeka.

Enjoy the record warmth while you can. Today will be the warmest day of the week, with high temperatures only reaching the 50s tomorrow.
