An Lansing inmate who walked away from a work site in Overland Park Friday has turned himself into police.

Zackary Conger was reported absent from Laser Apparel LLC Friday afternoon. Conger, 32, was serving time for convictions involving theft, forgery, burglary, robbery and solicitation to 1st degree murder.

He has since been returned to Lansing after turning himself into Lenexa Police Saturday morning.
