The winter storm is blamed for a deadly accident in northwest Kansas.
The accident happened at 8:50 a.m. on I-70 in Sherman County.
The Kansas Highway Patrol said a SUV driven by Carlos Esqueda,21, of Kansas City, Kansas, struck a patch of ice. The SUV entered the median and rolled, ejecting Esqueda. He died at a Goodland Hospital.
A passenger, Pablo Flores, was taken to a Goodland hospital for treatment.
