ICT SOS celebrated it's second anniversary. The anti-human trafficking organization in Wichita works as a liason with local agencies and law enforcement to help assist victims of sexual explotation.
Founder, Jennifer White says the program began in march of 2011 with a simple donation for the Wichita Children's Home Street Outreach Team. Since then, ICT S.O.S. has helped open the Oz Drop-in Center, organized a 5K run and an Old Town Concert and conference.
White says the organization has worked to build awareness of human trafficking and sexual explotation in Wichita and now, they are focusing on educating the public on what they can do to help survivors and prevention.
Sunday's anniversary was held at Mead's Corner in Old Town. Donations were collected for the YWCA Butterfly program.
