WICHITA, Kan Wednesday 11:57 a.m. 400 N. Estelle

60-year-old woman reports receiving a call telling her she is a millionaire as soon as she pays fees to receive her winnings. The victim said she got in a lot of trouble years ago when someone told her the same thing. The victim believes this to be a scam and doesn't want to get in trouble again.

Wednesday 2:23 p.m. 1500 N. Erie

68-year-old woman said she received a call from Lt. Warren telling her there was a warrant out for her arrest because she ran a red light and missed her court date. The caller told her to get a green dot card to take care of the ticket and court expenses. She was also told if she didn't get the card officers would be coming to her house today to arrest her. She didn't get the card or sustain any financial loss.
