Monday 10:29 a.m. 900 E. Lincoln

Man gets a call asking him when he'd be home so they could present him with his winning check. The man refused to answer the questions as well as questions about his home phone number and how to pronounce his name. The victim called the number back and received a voice mail.

Monday 11:39 a.m. 7100 E. Lincoln

Many reports having an online relationship with a woman. After a couple of weeks the woman asked him to apply to the military for a permanent leave due to marriage proposal. The woman supplied an email address to apply at commander.sec@aol.com. The victim received an email that requested money in order to process the request. The victim became suspicious when the money was to be sent to Malaysia. He contacted the Army who told him it was a scam.

Monday 5:35 p.m. 1000 E. Macarthur

Woman reports someone calling her and asking that she make a payment on a loan. The woman told police she never took out any loan and didn't make a payment.
