Woman contacted a person who works for a travel agency to arrange a flight. After the flight was arranged and transferred the money to them, the agency cancelled the flights and can't be reached.

59-year-old woman believes she was scammed by someone she believed to be a pastor or missionary.

67-year-old woman reports someone coming to her door offering to lower her quarterly trash bill and claiming they were an advertising firm working for a local trash company. The victim called the trash company and they verified this wasn't true and they didn't hire any firm.
Thursday 2:47 p.m. 2300 N. Bluff
A woman reports someone sending a large check to her daughter. The woman was searching for a job online and answered an ad for a nanny position. The check arrived today and the woman got suspicious when she saw the large amount.
Thursday 4:49 3900 N. Bayberry
42-year-old woman receives a call from someone saying she was from her electric company. The caller said the woman was late on her payment and she needed to pay right away with a green dot card. The caller said withing 45 minutes an electric company representative was going to her home to replace electric equipment because there was a risk of fire. She was told to unplug everything and if she did not pay it could cause her to be without power for 72 hours. The woman called her electric provider and found out it was a fraud.

18-year-old woman reports someone scamming her out of cash when she was promised a government grant for the amount of cash she sent. When the scammer received the money, she contacted the victim and requested more money.
