I-Team Scam Alert: Wichita scam reports

WICHITA, Kan Monday 1:10 p.m. 200 S. West. Spanish speaking victim reports being called from a listed number telling them they were going to shut his electricity off if he didn't send money via money cards. The victim sent the money and then was told by his electric company that this was not true.

Monday 6:19 p.m. 300 W. 34th South. 43-year-old woman reports an unknown person sending her a check to pay for a vehicle she was selling. The woman found out the check was fraudulent.
