A Hutchinson woman has been transferred to a Wichita hospital following an accident Wednesday afternoon.
It happened at the intersection of 3rd Avenue and Poplar Street. The Hutchinson Police Department says a car driven by a 19 year-old Haven man was traveling westbound, when he ran a stop sign and collided with a car driven by 68 year-old Claire Rhoades.
Rhoades was taken to Hutchinson Hospital but was transferred to Wesley Medical Center. Wesley officials tell KAKE News that she is still being evaluated and her current condition is unknown.
Sgt. Brian Hirt says the crash is still under investigation.
