Hundreds Of Gallons Of Gas Stolen From Sedgwick County Shop

Sedgwick County authorities are searching for the person who stole hundreds of gallons of gas and diesel fuel from a Sedgwick County facility.

Deputies found the locks to fuel pumps at the Sedgwick County Public Works facility, 17500 W. 71st Street South, had been cut. Deputies also found a section of security fence had been cut, allowing a truck towing a trailer to enter the property. 238 gallons of unleaded gas and 330 gallons of diesel fuel were stolen.

The loss is estimated at $1,900 with $2,090 in damages.
