A Sedgwick County District Court judge will hear a motion for acquittal in the case against former Garden Plain football coach Todd Puetz.

A jury couldn't reach a decision on a charge of solicitation against Puetz. He was found not guilty of attempted indecent liberties with a minor. Puetz was arrested in October, 2011 when a female police officer posed as a teenage girl.

Puetz is accused of trying to meet with the girl he had been communicating with online.

The motion will be heard Friday.
