A 22-year-old Haysville man was arrested early this morning after, sheriff's deputies say, he used his car to push another vehicle into a moving train.

Emergency crews were called to the 5300 block of South Hoover just before midnight. Sedgwick County Sheriff's Sgt. Dale Butcher tells KAKE News crews found the man laying on the rail road tracks.

Butcher says a 50-year-old woman stopped at the rail road crossing, waiting on a slow-moving train, when her car was hit from behind by the man's vehicle and pushed into the train. Both vehicles were dragged about 20 feet down the tracks, Butcher says, and both the man and the woman suffered minor injuries.

The man was arrested and booked into jail on suspicion of driving under the influence.
