WICHITA, Kan A hardware problem is making it difficult for some Fidelity Bank customers to take advantage of convenience services. And it may be tougher to resolve than first expected.
The hardware problem was discovered Monday evening and impacts online, mobile and telephone banking services. Customers can withdraw money at ATMs.
At first Fidelity's website reported services should be restored by Tuesday evening. But during the night, the fix time was pushed back three times - first to 6:00 a.m. Thursday, then 8:00 a.m. and most recently 9:00 a.m.
Fidelity Bank spokesman Al Sanchez sais the problem is not a result of a system breech and there has been no loss of data or confidential information. All transactions are being recorded.
