Garden City police officers are searching for a man wanted on multiple counts of child sex crimes.
Officers are searching for 57-year-old Elias Talavera, who is wanted on a warrant for rape, 3 counts of aggravated indecent liberties with a child and attempted aggravated indecent liberties with a child.
According to police, Talavera may have left the area after learning of the investigation.
He's described as a Hispanic man, 57-years-old, about 5 feet 10 inches tall, weighs approximately 170 pounds and has brown eyes.
Police believe he's driving a gray 1997 Chevrolet pickup truck with a camper shell, with license number PSI 754.
