Fuel, other equipment stolen from Sedgwick County facility

WICHITA, Kan. — Sheriff's deputies are searching for suspects after fuel and other equipment was stolen from a Sedgwick County facility.

Between 4:30 p.m. on January 16 and 8 a.m. on January 17, someone cut a hole in a security fence at the Sedgwick County Yards, located in the 2200 block of South Webb Road.

Once inside the suspect(s) stole 190 gallons of diesel fuel, 100 gallons of unleaded fuel, a gas-powered air compressor, a gas-powered generator, a 14-foot tandem axle trailer and a drill.

The loss is estimated at $11,141.
