A former Kansas state prisoner has been arrested after a Wichita woman said he kidnapped and raped her.

The woman told police she was walking on South Broadway around 5:30 p.m. Wednesday. A man pulled up in a car and invited her in.

The woman told officers she was raped several times before escaping a home and calling police. The woman was able to point out the house in the 1200 block of North Ohio Street. Police made an arrest at the house.

Jail records show Percy McDonald, 54, is being held for rape, aggravated criminal sodomy, aggravated kidnapping and probation violation.

The Kansas Department of Corrections website shows McDonald was discharged in 2009 after serving time for aggravated robbery and attempting to elude police.
