Food Pantry Opens For Storm Victims

A Wichita food pantry is providing long-term disaster assistance to Oaklawn tornado victims.

Walk-in assistance is available at the Catholic Charities, Inc. – Diocese of Wichita south-side food pantry. The pantry located at 2825 S. Hillside will be open through April 30. Hours of operation will be from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., Monday through Friday.

Catholic Charities is also collecting non-perishable food, as well as cash and gift cards in increments up to fifty dollars to QuikTrip, Walmart, Dillons and Target, which can be delivered to the pantry during business hours. Cash donations can also be made at Catholic Charities.
