Fire caused about $30,000 worth of damage to an Oaklawn home Saturday evening.
Firefighters were called to the 3400 block of East Locust a little before 7 p.m. The first arriving crews reported flames coming from the house.
Sedgwick County Fire Division Chief Stewart Segraves said the fire started in a back room of the house. A woman who was in the home was able to get outside safely.
