UPDATE: Bomb Threats Also Reported In Colorado Springs

Bomb threats have also been reported in the Colorado Springs-area.

Our sister station KKTV reports that a Walmart located in East Colorado Springs received a threat Saturday afternoon. The store was evacuated and a search conducted but nothing was found. The store has since been reopened.

It was the second reported threat at a Colorado Springs Walmart. Friday night around 10:30 p.m. Authorities were called to the scene and the building was thoroughly searched, but nothing was found.

The store was reopened around 2:00 a.m. this morning.

A search of a Great Bend Walmart has turned up nothing following a bomb threat Saturday afternoon.

Lt. William Browne with the Great Bend Police Department tells KAKE News that the store immediately reported the threat shortly before 4:00 p.m. and then evacuated the store.

Lt. Brown said nearby businesses were also evacuated. Three teams searched the building but nothing was found.

Salina authorities evacuated their Walmart after receiving a similar threat, but nothing was found. So far, Saline County law enforcement is not releasing any information.

Lt. Browne with the Great Bend Police Department tells KAKE similar threats were reported at locations in Oklahoma.
