An Ellinwood, Kansas man received a big surprise, with a big check.

The Publishers Clearing House Prize Patrol made a stop in Ellinwood, Friday afternoon to find the Assistant Pastor of the First Baptist Church, but he wasn’t home.

Neighbors told the Prize Patrol he was at lunch with his wife and two children, but they still couldn’t find him.

Finally, they went back to Delbert Walth’s home to wait for him, but low and behold, he was home, and claimed his big check, worth $10,000.

Dave Sayer, head of the Publishers Clearing House Prize Patrol, said Walth would enter online at PCH.com, several times, and finally it paid off.
