Anybody with old prescription drugs taking up space in their medicine cabinets, has a chance to dispose of those drugs safely Saturday.

The Drug Enforcement Agency, the Kansas Attorney General's Office and the Sedgwick County Sheriff's Office are participating in the National Take Back Initiative. The semi-annual event is an effort to keep unused prescription drugs away from those who would abuse them.

Three drop off locations will be open in Sedgwick County from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday. They are: The Sedgwick County Zoo, 5555 W. Blvd., the Household Hazardous Waste Center, 801 W. Stillwell, and the Oaklawn Activity Center, 4904 S. Clifton.
